Simplicity and subtlety is key.
I felt that my installation was a little too literal and could’ve worked with something simpler. With Rosalind E Krauss’s article in mind, this intervention could’ve gone a little better as it slowly made sense to me that my intervention would’ve crossed a little out of the territories of being a sculpture integrated with the space. Although the intervention was site specific, its intention on first glance by passerby’s would’ve immediately been that of a conventional art sculpture. It wasn’t as stimulating as I’ve thought it would be and I am now only looking forward to the next project.
